UID Expeditor is designed to handle the more challenging aspects of UID processing that require interfacing with the IUID Registry: submission of embedded UIDs for new acquisition and gaining custody of Government-Furnished Property (GFP) for maintenance and repair. It includes automated UID data collection, and supports deeply embedded UID items. UID Expeditor augments the UID capabilities of MIL-Comply/Shipper and MIL-Comply/Labeling, which focus on manual data-entry of UIIs for Mil-Std-129 container labeling, RFID and the submission of WAWF Receiving Reports (DD250s).
UID Expeditor is organized into three main functional areas:
•UID Data Collection
oScanning of UID Data Matrix (2D) symbols for end and embedded items
oManual entry of UIIs (via keystrokes or cut and paste)
oCollection of UID data for future shipments (to be determined later)
oPrinting of UID embedded UID family tree maps
•Embedded UID Registration
oSubmission of embedded UIDs collected by it or Shipper or Labeling
oCombines use of 2D scanner data with manually entered UIIs
oSupports import of CSV files from Excel or business systems
•Government Furnished Property (GFP) transaction processing
oIUID Registry custody transaction handling
oReparable Receiving Report (RRR) support
UID Expeditor integrates with Comply/Labeling for Mil-Std-129 container labeling and Comply/Shipper for submission of Receiving Reports (DD250s), including the Reparable Receiving Report (RRR) for GFP shipments.
Integration with enterprise business systems is provided via MIL-Comply's various APIs and through its use of Microsoft SQL Server database.
