MIL-Comply facilitates compliance with the rules, regulations, standards and initiatives that define the nature of defense contract compliance, particularly as it applies to delivery and servicing of goods and services.   UID Expeditor focuses on three challenging areas of that:

•Collection of UID data an the emphasis embedded items and supporting use of 2D image scanners

•Submission of embedded UID data directly to the IUID Registry

•IUID Registry transactions pertaining to the servicing of GFP

This section starts with some definitions of terms used in compliance and throughout the software.  It follows with some background on the rules that shape the processes employed by contractors and facilitated by the MIL-Comply compliance suite, UID Expeditor in particular.
