UID Expeditor supports several CSV formats for importing embedded UID items.

•UID CSV v5: Embedded UID Import

•UID CSV v2: End / Embedded UID Items

The CSV v5 is designed specifically for import of embedded items for direct submission to IUID Registry by UID Expeditor. In this format, end-items are considered errors (missing parent), which will prevent the file from being processed. Future versions may include a flag that permits all UIDs for a shipment to be presented to UID Expeditor, with the end-items simply being ignored.

The v2 format is used to import UID end-items into Comply/Shipper and Comply/Labeling that include embedded items. Acceptance of the latter format allows for a single format for both purposes, with end-items simply being ignored by UID Expeditor.

The UID CSV v4 format has been deprecated.
