Construct 1 UIDs are a challenge to automatically process because there is little about the UII to help identify the part number and noun of the marked item. The UID's Entity ID (CAGE) could be used to narrow the list, which could be of some help.
For such items the Determine UII Part Number dialog will ask you to locate the item in the Parts Database or add it if not found.
To make it easier, UID Expeditor helps a little by listing parts retrieved in the same session, reducing the number of parts that need to be traversed to find the applicable one.
