The DD1348-Specific Data Items editor is populated in order to produce a DD1348 form, which is generally only used by the services but is available in MIL-Comply to satisfy specialized contract requirements.  

Shipments are printed as DD1348s rather than DD250s whenever this form has data.   Therefore, it should not be used to add Requisition Number to a shipment, which should be done on the Shipment Editor, unless a DD1348 is desired.
