VSM Automation > Using VSM in Labeling

Label printing and VSM operations are integrated in Comply/Labeling in the VSM Shipment Dashboard. It has a streamlined Container Labeling process which quickly generates labels while collecting the information that VSM needs for shipment instructions. The normal use of Labeling is bypassed for VSM shipments, although it can be used for label formats not supported by the VSM Container Labeling.

VSM shipments are created and opened in the same manner as other shipments. (See creating shipments for more information.) Once a shipment is open clicks on the VSM menu command to bring up the VSM Shipment Dashboard.

Labeling's VSM command will bring up the shipment in the VSM Dashboard. When done, Comply/Labeling will prompt:

Click [ Cancel ] unless you want to print other labels for the shipment that are not supported in the Dashboard, such as generic text formats.
